Congratulations to Year 4 student Emmeline, who won the Metropolitan South and Metropolitan South and West (MS&MS&W) Public Speaking Competition at Ultimo Public School for Stage 2.
She represented Fort Street with her expressive speech about "The Importance of Travel". Her voice projection and animated gestures won the audience and the adjudicator, while her impromptu speech on "Opportunity Lost" convinced them about seizing opportunities for example, by nominating yourself to become a school leader.
She will now go on to the next round later in the term. Well done, Emmeline!
