School Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
School uniforms can be purchased from Lowes online or directly from their Leichhardt store.
Initially, children will need a summer uniform, hat, school bag and sports uniform, along with black leather shoes and navy socks.
The school office has some second-hand items available for purchase – please phone the school if you would like to take advantage of this option.
Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Fort Street Public School Canteen was featured in the Sydney Morning Herald for its healthy choices.
At Fort Street Public School, we are fortunate to have a Canteen that operates five days a week.
Our Canteen is cashless.
Lunch orders must be made via MunchMonitor prior to 9am on the day of the order.
