Please visit the above links if you would like more information, or to access the curriculum, for each of our SRE/SEE offerings.
Non-Scripture Classes
Students who do not wish to participate in SRE/SEE classes can enrol in non-scripture classes where they will undertake meaningful activities, such as reading, drawing or developmental play, supervised by a Fort Street teacher.
Fort Street students will continue in the same class as the previous year, unless a parent/caregiver has requested a change.
During enrolment, you can choose a special religious education option for your child from the school’s available approved providers. You can withdraw your child from special religious education by selecting alternative meaningful activities, or special education in ethics if it’s available.
You can update your preference by writing to the school or through the online form available at participating schools.
Visit the department’s website for more information about religion and ethics.
