Fort Street is happy to announce the introduction of a brand new award that our students can earn for attendance. Attendance at school is very important and we are excited to recognise those students who are coming in every day and working towards their learning goals.
50 awards were handed out at assembly this morning for perfect attendance in Term 1 and we must thank Mr Rogers for writing them all. Who will get the award for Term 2? Along with the awards each term, we will also have extra special awards for those students who maintain perfect attendance for the entire school year.
What does perfect attendance look like? It's coming the school whenever you can. If students are legitimately sick and submit a note for being away, they are still elegible for the award. We don't want to encourage sick students to come to school. Partial attendance is also considered. We love seeing all our students at school on time.
